7.1 Vehicle Seat Location Requirements

restrained in rear vehicle seating

Whenever possible secure the child
restraint in the center position of the seat
directly behind the front seats.
However, this position is sometimes
equipped with a lap belt only and cannot
be used when this child restraint is used
without the built-in harness.
