WARNING

To reduce the risk of fire and explosion, which could cause serious injury and property damage, the PC

must be in a non-hazardous location.

If connecting RS-232 cable to a unit used in a hazardous location, a safety barrier must be installed

between the PC and unit. Use Kit 246397/248403 and see F

IG. 2 for installation requirements.

which are referred to as “the unit”.
