To disable this feature:
1. Move transport lock knob up to the Off
position.
Height of Cut (HOC)
See Figure 6.
1. Push down on mower lift pedal, or pull
back on lift lever, to release deck
pressure from HOC index wheel.
2. If locked, move transport lock lever to
unlocked position.
3. Rotate HOC index wheel to the desired
HOC setting. Height setting is viewed in
the center window on top of the HOC
adjustment assembly.
4. Release mower lift pedal or lift lever.
Parking Brake Lever
Engage parking brake; steering levers must
lock in neutral.
Disengage parking brake; engine must not
start.
Release control lever; engine must turn off.
1. DISENGAGE
Push lever forward to
disengage brake.
2. ENGAGE
Pull lever backward to
engage brake.
Operator Platform
The operator platform has two positions:
1. Ride
Use as a stand-on mower (platform down)
2. Transport
Use as a walk-behind unit (platform up)
NOTICE: Lock platform using the transport
lock latch. See To Move the Operator
Platform on page 17.
HOUR / MAINTENANCE METER
Hour Meter-only Models
Hour meter measures engine runtime and
cannot be reset.
Maintenance Models
See Figure 7.
When the key is in the on position, the Timer
mode displays. Press the Mode button to
toggle between different models.
Timer: Measures engine runtime until reset.
To reset the timer, press the Mode button to
select TMR1 mode and then hold Mode
button for 3 seconds.
IMPORTANT: Turn ignition key to the off
position when unit is not in use. Some meters
may count hours when the key is in the on
position, even if the engine is off. This results
in inaccurate maintenance intervals.
