1. Record the
installation
direction of
the 4-way
valve

Remember the installation direction of the
4-way valve before removal.
ƹ
Remove the coil.
ƹ
Wrap the 4-way valve prior to unbrazing
to prevent it from being damaged and use
it for future analysis.
ƹ
Unbraze the 4-way valve.
2. Clean
the system,
replace
the 4-way
valve and
reconnect
the pipeline
as before
Remove the 4-way valve
and clean the system
ƹ
Replace the 4-way valve with the same
model, or that approved by the qualified
technician.
ƹ
Wrap the 4-way valve with wet cloth.
ƹ
Reconnect the connection pipe as before.
ƹ
Braze the pipeline.
ƹ
Charge nitroge when unbrazing.
3. Vacuum
the system
and charge
refrigerant
again
ƹ
Vacuum the system until the pressure
goes as low as -1.0bar.
ƹ
The refrigerant charge and quality shall
comply with the specification on the
nameplate.
