7. Check if
oil needs to
be added
Drill a hole close to the bottom
ƹ
Tilt the accumulator and then drill a hole
close to the bottom and then pour the
oil inside the accumulator to a prepared
container.
8. Add oil if
necessary
Charge oil here
ƹ
Charge oil to the accumulator prior to
brazing.
9. Reconnect
the
connection
pipe of the
accumulator
and vacuum
the system
and then
charge
refrigerant
again
ƹ
Charge nitrogen when brazing.
ƹ
Vacuum the system until the pressure
goes as low as -1.0bar.
ƹ
The refrigerant charge and quality shall
comply with the specification on the
nameplate.
