Description
The Greenlee 724 BX Stud Punch is intended to make
32 mm (1-1/4") square holes in metal studs with a
20 gauge maximum (0.0359") thickness. The punch rolls
the edges over to prevent armored and corrugated PVC
conduit from hanging up on the edges of the punched
hole.
The Greenlee 724 BX Stud Punch is protected by U.S.
Patent No. 5,287,716.

724 BX Stud Punch

Operation
1. Position the punch on the metal stud.
2. Squeeze the handles together. The punch makes a
32 mm (1-1/4") square hole with rolled edges.
Note: This tool will punch to its rated capacity with
approximately 200 newtons (45 lb) of handle force.
If excessive force is required, stop and inspect the tool
and the material.
Maintenance
Lubricate all moving parts with a lightweight oil.
