      rebecca90Jul 28, 2025
If your Greenlee Power Tool's piston won't return and you observe external oil leaks, it could be due to a weak or damaged return spring, or too much oil. Refer to the Piston Travel Inspection instructions. Another cause could be damaged seals or surfaces; for this, consult the Cylinder and Pump Block sections within Troubleshooting and Repair. Finally, inspect the Release Valve; see Inspection and Adjustments.

Why Greenlee Quick Draw 90 7906SB Power Tool will not punch hole?
    • T
      Tommy RochaAug 11, 2025
If your Greenlee Power Tool isn't punching holes, requires excessive lever force, the pump won't build pressure, or requires an excessive number of strokes, first ensure the correct assembly and use of the punch, die, and accessories, consulting the Operating Instructions and Capacity Chart. Also, check the oil level and add hydraulic oil as described in the Maintenance Section. The material you're using might be too thick or hard, so verify the Capacity Chart. See step 3, Adding Hydraulic Oil. See Intake Check Valve Inspection. See Discharge Check Valve Inspection. See Release Valve Inspection. See Cylinder and Pump Block sections.
