ATTACHING THE GUARD
(See
Figure 2.
)
NOTE: Install the guard before the attachment is connected to the lower shaft.
1. Remove supplied screw with a phillips screwdriver from the trimmer head.
2. Fit the guard into the slots on trimmer head.
3. Turn counterclockwise to lock grass deector into place.
4. Line up the screw hole in the grass deector with the center hole in the trimmer head.
5. Install supplied screw and tighten by turning clockwise with a phillips screwdriver.
