4.8 LED reading lamp
The couch can also be equipped with an LED reading lamp.
Switching on and off
Press the button (1) on the lamp head (2) to switch it on and off.
Danger of glare / eye injuries from LED reading lamp.
Never look directly into the LED reading lamp and do not use the LED reading lamp to illuminate
the eye area. The bright light can cause glare or eye injuries.

The LED reading lamp switches on automatically when the mains plug is inserted.
The LED reading lamp cannot be switched on in purely battery operation - deep discharge protec-
tion.
Despite comprehensive EMC testing, it is possible that the LED reading lamp may cause interfer-
ence to other devices.
In such cases, either switch off the LED reading lamp completely or, if necessary, maintain a
greater distance from the disturbed device, or change the orientation of the devices to each other.
If possible, do not use the same mains outlet.
Before cleaning and disinfecting, switch off the LED reading lamp and then disconnect the mains
plug - allow to cool sufficiently (see 6 Cleaning and disinfection).
Use commercially available plastic cleaners to clean the electrical components.
