5.16 Foot switch
For handling the foot switch (4222500) (see 4.6 Foot switch).
Pressing the orange foot switch brings the couch directly into the shock position (Trendelenburg position) (see
4.3.5 Shock position).
TIP
Using the foot switch means that
the user has both hands free
right from the start for important,
possibly life-saving, measures on
the patient - saving time.
In an emergency, every second
counts.

5.17 Mains cable
The couch is supplied with an EU mains cable as standard. However, a mains cable for Switzerland (CH -
4222700) can also be ordered instead of an EU mains cable.
NOTE
Never replace the mains cable yourself. The service of your authorised specialist distributor will be
pleased to take care of this.
Work on live components should be carried out by qualified experts - safety aspect.
See "4.3.2 Replacing the mains cable" in the service manual in any case.
TIP
The range of possible variants is
