10:3 Preparing the Deep Digger
for transport
The machine will be unloaded or delivered in
the transport position.
The machine will need a oversize sign tted,
and ags. Consult local road authorities for
specic advice.
Always stay out from underneath a
Deep Digger unless it is resting rmly
on the ground or supported with
transport stops tted to lift cyclinders.

WARNING!
Trailed Deep Digger Transport Mode
The procedure is as follows:
1. Fully raise the Deep Digger.
2. Fit the transport lock-up bars on the wheel
lift rams.
3. Lock the tractor drawbar. Do not transport
the Deep Digger with a swinging drawbar.
It is suggested to remove the shear pins
when towing on roads.
WARNING!
Be aware of overhead power cables
and their danger. Lack of attention to
power cables can cause serious injury
or death.
Do not allow, under any
circumstances, a person to stand
between the tractor and Deep Digger
when reversing the tractor to t the
linkage arms. Keep all parts of the
body well clear. Failure to observe this
warning may result in serious injury.
The rollers are not designed as depth
control when working. Damage to your
tractor or Deep Digger may result.
