Deep Diggers can by transported at packed
or fully assembled, if fully assembled it can
be unloaded by lifting, or by using a loading
ramp, the truck must have a deck widener to
do this.
1. The Deep Digger has 4 sling points as
indicated, check the specications in
section 8 for the total weight, ensure
crane, slings, etc. are capable of doing the
job before lifting.
Flat Packed
To assemble
1. Unpack the at pack. Using a crane,
unstack the at pack and place the
components in a convenient place on the
oor or ground. Use a plan view of the
machine shown in the operator’s manual
under Deep Digger frame assemblies
to familiarise yourself with location of
machine components.
2. Raise the frame, place it on support
stands and bolt the frame together.
3. Fit wheels to the main frame axles. Fit
wheels to the main frame axles and fully
tighten wheel nuts to 320ft/lb.
Grizzly Deep Diggers are designed
for agricultural usage only. They are
not suitable for land clearing (stump
mining) operations or tillage at high
speed.

4. Assemble the hitch pull onto the main
frame:
• a) Align the main pull frame and t the two
pins.
• b) Fit the pitch control ram using the pins
provided.
5. Assemble all hydraulic hoses onto the
Deep Digger. There are three circuits on
the trailed Deep Digger models - pitch
control ram, wheel lift and an optional
crumble roller. All hoses and tubes are
custom made and numbered.
