What causes the blade to track incorrectly on my Grizzly Extreme?
- DDawn VargasAug 27, 2025
If the Grizzly Saw blade tracks incorrectly or comes off the wheels, consider these possible causes. The tracking might not be adjusted properly, so adjust the tracking. The wheels may not be coplanar, adjust the wheels to be coplanar. The blade tension could be too loose, increase the blade tension. Blade guides or support bearings might be too tight, properly adjust them. Avoid feeding the workpiece too fast, feed the workpiece slower. Using the incorrect blade for the operation can cause tracking issues, install the correct blade. A worn or dull blade can also cause problems, install a new blade and remove tension from the blade when not in use. Damaged or worn rubber tires or wheels can be the cause, replace them and remove tension from the blade when not in use.
