Why are my Grizzly Saw cuts rough or show scoring?
    • C
      Courtney FrostSep 23, 2025
Rough or scored cuts from your Grizzly Saw can be caused by several factors. The blade may be overloaded and twisting; decrease the feed rate or workpiece pressure. The blade TPI might be too coarse or the speed incorrect; use the correct blade for the application. If the blade is loose and slipping on the wheels, re-tension it. Incorrect blade tracking can also cause this issue; adjust the blade tracking. Replace the blade if it has missing or bent teeth, or if it has a faulty weld.

How to fix vibration or noisy operation in my Grizzly G0513 Saw?
    • W
      wendydiazAug 25, 2025
To address vibration or noisy operation in your Grizzly Saw, start by checking for any damaged or missing bolts and nuts, and replace or tighten them as needed. Inspect and, if necessary, replace the belt, and re-align the pulleys. Ensure the pulley is securely fastened on the shaft. Also, examine and tighten or replace any loose components. Check the fan cover and replace it or the fan if damaged. Inspect and test the shaft by rotating it; if you notice grinding or looseness, the bearings may need replacement. If the blade is the problem, replace warped or bent blade or resharpen dull blade.

What to do if my Grizzly Saw blade slows down, smokes, or overheats?
    • K
      keithclarkAug 26, 2025
If your Grizzly Saw blade slows down, smokes, or shows overheating, ensure you are feeding the workpiece straight into the blade. Adjust the blade guides to reduce excessive side pressure and properly align the table. Position the upper blade guides as close to the workpiece as possible. Verify the blade is installed correctly, with the teeth facing the front of the machine and pointing down in the table throat; reinstall if necessary. Check that the wheels are coplanar. Replace the blade if needed. Adjust the fence or miter slot with the blade. Adjust or shim the table or trunnion until the blade and table are parallel and square. Tighten the V-belt, and replace it if it is worn or oily.

Why is the cut crooked or the blade wandering on my Grizzly G0513 Saw?
    • A
      Aaron BridgesAug 27, 2025
If your Grizzly Saw is producing crooked cuts or the blade is wandering, try the following: reduce the feed rate or pressure. Increase the blade tension. Use a wider blade and ensure the tooth type and TPI are correct. Position the upper blade guides as close to the workpiece as possible and properly adjust the blade guides and support bearings. Replace the blade if necessary. Adjust the blade tracking. Tighten the table trunnion bolts or tilt lock lever. Align the table and fence with the blade. Properly adjust the blade guides and support bearings.

How to prevent blade or teeth from breaking or cracking on my Grizzly G0513?
    • J
      jspencerAug 27, 2025
To prevent blade or teeth from breaking or cracking on your Grizzly Saw, adjust the blade tension. Use the correct blade for the application. Reduce the feed rate or pressure. When making cuts, use a wider arc on outside cuts, or use relief cuts for tight inside cuts. Replace the blade if necessary. Adjust the blade tracking. Properly adjust the blade guides and support bearings, ensuring they cannot hit the teeth during operation. Adjust the upper blade guide so the blade is as close to the workpiece as possible. Replace or reinstall the tire. Align the table and fence with the blade. Replace the blade guides or bearings.

Why does my Grizzly Saw miter bar bind in the miter slot?
    • M
      Melissa BowmanSep 22, 2025
If the miter bar binds in the miter slot of your Grizzly Saw, the miter slot may be dirty or gummed up; carefully clean the miter slot.

Why doesn't the table on my Grizzly G0513 Saw tilt to 0 degrees?
    • J
      Jordan CooperSep 16, 2025
If the table on your Grizzly Saw doesn't tilt to 0 degrees, the pointer or scale might be calibrated incorrectly; calibrate the pointer/scale at true 0 degrees. Alternatively, the positive stop bolt may not be set correctly; adjust the positive stop bolt.

Why doesn't the table on my Grizzly G0513 Saw tilt to 45 degrees?
    • J
      jason82Sep 18, 2025
If the table on your Grizzly Saw doesn't tilt to 45 degrees, the pointer or scale might be calibrated incorrectly; calibrate the pointer/scale at true 45 degrees. It's also possible that a machine component is blocking the path; remove any component blocking the table.

Why is the table on my Grizzly G0513 hard to tilt?
    • L
      lwareSep 2, 2025
If the table on your Grizzly Saw is hard to tilt, start by loosening the table tilt lock lever. If that doesn't help, remove the table and clean the trunnion sliding surfaces of any sawdust or pitch. Also, check for and remove any burrs.
