6.2 Vibration dampening
If vibration dampers are used, they must be installed under the
foundation. Pumps with motor size ≤ 30 kW can use vibration
dampers as shown in fig. 11.
For pumps with motor sizes ≥ 37 kW, use a Sylomer
®
plate as
shown in fig. 12.

6.3 Outdoor installation
When installed outdoors, we recommend you to provide the motor
with a rain cover. We also recommend you to open one of the
drain holes in the motor flange.
6.4 Hot surfaces
Figure 13 shows which pump parts get as hot as the pumped
liquid.

6.5 Torques
The table shows the recommended torques for bolts in base and
flanges.

When pumping hot liquids, care should be taken
to ensure that persons cannot accidentally come
into contact with hot surfaces.
