Grundfos Eye indicates the operating conditions of the motor on the motor operating panel.

Grundfos Eye Cause Remedy
No lights are on.
Power off
The motor is not running.
Two opposite green indicator lights
are permanently on.
Power on
The motor is not running.
Two opposite green indicator lights
are rotating.
Power on
The motor is running. The indicator lights are
rotating in the direction of rotation of the motor
when seen from the non-drive end.
Two opposite red indicator lights
are flashing simultaneously.
Alarm
The motor has stopped.
Two opposite yellow lights are
permanently on.
The pump was stopped by:
• external input
• calendar function
• twin communication failure (only SCALA1).
Two yellow and two green lights
are permanently on.
The pump is performing a self-test.
