If your Grundfos Water Pump cycles too often, it could be due to a defective or improperly adjusted pressure switch, which should be readjusted or replaced. The tank might be too small, requiring replacement with a correctly sized one. Insufficient air charging of the tank or piping leaks should be repaired. A plugged snifter valve or bleed orifice can cause the pressure tank to become waterlogged, necessitating repair or replacement. Leaks in the pressure tank or piping should also be repaired or replaced. Lastly, a defective or improperly set level control should be readjusted or replaced according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
