parentschicht wird der Strahl zusatzlich
gebiindelt. Der Leuchtfleck auf der Plat-
tenoberflache betragt ca. 0.8 mm. Da-
durch stért ein Staubkorn, bzw. ein Krat-
zer bis zu 0,5 mm auf der Plattenober-

Disc surface
Due to the refractive index of the trans-
parent substrate the beam is
additionally concentrated. The light
spot on the upper surface of the disc is
0.8mm. Due to this, dust particles and
scratches up to 0.5mm on the disc
upper-surface does not resuit. in
interference.
Light with defined wave length falling in
the deppression causes the light beam
to be dispersed. A photo diode placed in
the path of the beam can convert this
into a change of voltage (See diagram).
