8. How to solve errors
Warning!
As soon as uncontrolled steam
emerges, remove the source of heat.
The device is not to be used again until
the error has been corrected. Only a slight
emergence of steam from pressure regulator

normal.

Steam is escaping from
between the lid and the base
Appliance not closed correctly Close the appliance again correctly
Sealing ring is dirty Clean the sealing ring
Sealing ring is broken/worn
away
Replace the sealing ring (1 x year)
No steam is coming from the
pressure regulator
Steam is escaping from
between the lid and the base

Pressure regulator is dirty Clean the pressure regulator (see
"7.2 Cleaning the pressure cooker"
on page 30)
Not enough liquid in the
appliance
Slowly cool down the appliance
and fill with at least 0.25 l fluids
Heat supply too low Increase the heat supply (turn the
cooking plate to a higher setting)
Too much steam is coming from
the pressure regulator
Heat supply too high Decrease the heat supply (turn the
cooking plate to a lower setting)
Pressure regulator is dirty Clean the pressure regulator (see
"7.2 Cleaning the pressure cooker"
on page 30)
Steam is escaping laterally
from the pressure regulator
The pressure regulator is not
correctly fitted
Fit the pressure regulator correctly.
Steam and liquid suddenly
escape from the safety valve
Opening for the pressure
regulator is blocked
Remove pot from cooking plate and
allow it to cool down. Then clean
the pressure regulator and the
opening in the lid for the pressure
regulator (see "7.2 Cleaning the
pressure cooker" on page 30)
Safety valve is defective Replace safety valve
