9. Disposal
9.1 Appliance
When disposing of the pressure cooker, please
observe the relevant environmental regulations in
your country.
9.2 Packaging
When discarding the packaging, please observe
the relevant environmental regulations in your
country.
10. Cooking times
The following is intended as a guideline when
cooking using setting
II . On setting I the cooking
times extend by approximately 50 %. Exact
cooking times depend on the amount, freshness
and the quality of the ingredients used.
Steam escapes from the safety
openings
Pressure regulator is dirty Remove pot from cooking plate and
allow it to cool down. Then clean the
pressure regulator (see "7.2 Cleaning
the pressure cooker" on page 30)
Pressure regulator is defective Replace pressure regulator with a
new one
Safety valve is defective Replace safety valve (see "Service
Address:" on page35).
The lid does not open There is too much pressure in
the appliance
Follow the instructions in
"6.4 Opening the pressure cooker"
on page 28
Lid cannot be put on properly Lid or base of pot has become
deformed
You may only continue using the pot
with a new lid or new base
