Why is the cloud connection LED on my Hach Controller staying off?
    • A
      Annette ClayAug 1, 2025
The cloud connection LED stays off, and sometimes flashes blue briefly, because there is no internet access or because the cloud connection LED is not working. If using cellular internet access: * Use the web server application to check the SIM card settings (provider, APN etc.). * Use the web server application to check the network status. * Make sure that the prepaid SIM card has credit. * Make sure that the SIM card data volume is not exceeded. If using LAN internet access: * Make sure that the controller has approval to be connected in the network. * Make sure that the network cable is connected to the correct Ethernet port. * Use the web server application to examine the network status. Also, ensure that the sensors are connected to the MSM.

What to do if the sensor status LED on my Hach Controller stays red?
    • D
      Danny HendricksAug 5, 2025
If the sensor status LED is red, it indicates an invalid measurement due to a sensor error or a communication failure. Examine the sensor and the sensor cable for damage. If no damage is found, disconnect the sensor, wait until the LED is off, then connect the sensor again.

What does it mean if the sensor status LED is flashing red on my Hach Controller?
    • C
      Carl RobertsAug 9, 2025
A flashing red sensor status LED indicates the sensor type is not supported by the cloud, a sensor connection issue, or that the controller is incompatible with the mA input module. Make sure that the sensor is supported by the MSM. Ensure that only two sensors are installed in the controller. Make sure that the analog module and the digital sensor are not connected to the same channel. Make sure that the controller is compatible with the mA input module.

Why is the cloud connection LED on my Hach Controller staying red?
    • A
      Amy RuizAug 14, 2025
The cloud connection LED stays red because there is no access to the cloud, but there is internet access. If the controller is connected to the cloud for the first time, make sure that the controller is provisioned by the MSM. If the controller was connected to the cloud before, set the controller to off, then on again.

    • E
      Edward PenningtonAug 18, 2025
If the sensor status LED is off while the second sensor operates, it could be due to a sensor connection issue. Examine the sensor and the sensor cable for damage. If no damage is found, disconnect the sensor, wait for 15 seconds, then connect the sensor again.
