2. AFTER -SALES SERVICE
Guarantee conditions
Guarantee cover for appliances can only be considered valid if
presented together with a fiscal receipt or invoice.
Once guarantee cover has expired, repair work, replacement
parts, labour and carriage costs provided by an Authorised
Service Centre shall be charged to the customer.
Guarantee cover does not include damage or faults to the ap-
pliance caused by:
• user’snegligenceorcarelessnessduringuseortransport;
• damagetothings,personsandanimalsduetoimproper
useorincorrectinstallationoftheappliance;
• installationonsystemsnotcomplyingwithcurrentlegal
regulations;
• replacementsand/orrepairscarriedoutbytheuserbut
notspeciedandauthorisedbythishandbook;
• useofnonoriginalsparepartsnotauthorisedbytheMa-
nufacturer.
Identification and serial No. Plate
If the appliance is faulty or does not operate, consult the
“Troubleshooting” chap. at the back of this handbook. If the
problem is not resolved, call the Assistance Centre, specifying
the data on the Identification and serial No. plate: it is located
inside the refrigeration compartment glued low down on the
left side (see paragraph “Description of the appliance”).
The identification and Serial No. Plate provides important
information about the appliance and must not be tampered
with or removed.
Information provided in the rating plate affixed to the
appliance:
A: Model
B: Manufacturer’s details
C: Serial number
D: Gross capacity
E: Internal refrigerator compartment net capacity
F: Internal freezer compartment net capacity
G: Chiller compartment net capacity (if any)
H: Freezing capacity (given in weight – kg - of food products
frozen in 24 hours)
L: Climate class
M: Type and quantity of refrigerant
N: Electrical specifications
