Wall Control
Thewallcontrolactslikeathermostat,athermisterinthe
wallcontrolissendingtemperatureinformationbacktothe
microprocessoronthefurnace.Thisinformationisusedto
determinetheneedtoincreaseordecreasethesizeofthe
reaccordingtothetemperaturedemand.
Setting The Room Temperature
To settheroom temperature,simplyturn thetemperature
dialtothedesiredsetting.Thecontrolandthefurnacewill
thenperformtoachievethesettemperature.
Note: The minimum temperature you can set with a
full counter-clockwise knob position is 58 degrees. The
maximumtemperatureyoucansetwithafullclockwiseknob
positionis90degrees.
WallControlcalibration:The“NormalSetting”ontheTemp
DialoftheFurnaceControl(SeeFig.44)calibratestheWall
Controltemperaturespan.IftheTempDialisnotpointingto
the“NormalSetting”,thetemperaturespancouldvaryby3
degreesupordowndependingontheTempDialknobsetting.
Low Fuel Sensor
Thereisalowfuelsensorinthehopperthattellsthecontrol
that the fuel level in the hopper has dropped below the
sensor.Whenthishappens,theLowFuellightontheWall
Controlwillstarttoblink.Youthenknowthatitistimetoll
thehopperwithpellets.
Note:Testingthelow fuelsensor canbe doneby turning
theFEEDADJUSTERknobto“Test”.ThePOWERlightwill
gooffwhenthesensorisuncoveredandwilllightwhenthe
sensoriscoveredagain.
Note: TheLOWFUELlightontheFurnaceControlwilllight
atthesametime.OnlytheLOWFUELlightontheFurnace
Controlwillremainlitforthreeminutesafterthesensoris
coveredwithpellets.SeeNotebelow.
Note: TheLowFuellightindicatesthatthereispowergoing
totheauxiliaryleadsinthecircuitbreakerjunctionbox.(120
VAC60HzMax.1Amp.)Theauxiliarypowerleadscouldbe
usedifabulkhopperandaugersystemwereinstalled.(see
wiringdiagramonpage36)
Type of Fuel
Pelletizedwoodonly.
Note:Thelowertheashcontentofthepelletsmeansless
heatexchangersurfacecleaningthatwillbe needed.The
cleaner these surfaces are kept, the more efcient the
furnacewillbe.
