FEEDER DOES NOT FEED
1. Nopelletsinhopper.

in feeder circuit to operate. Check for closed doors,
looseormissinggasketondoorsorhopperlid,orafaulty
pressureswitch.
3. FeedmotorwillnotrununtilESPsenses165°F.Maybe
you did not put enough pellets in the burn pot before
lightingtheremanually.
4. Somethingisrestrictingowinthehopperorcausingthe
slideplatetostick.
5. Feedmotorhasfailed.
PARTIALLY BURNED PELLETS
1. Feedratetoohigh.
2. Drafttoolow.(Checkburnpotclean-outslideanddoor
gasket).
3. Burn pot or heat exchanger tubes may need to be
cleaned.
4. Combinationofalltheabove.
5. #6statusblink:A6blinkcontrolboardstatusindicationis
causedbypoororincompletecombustion.TheAutomatic
Ignitioncircuitboardhastheabilitytotrackthecombustion
through feed settings and ESP temperatures. When
the control board has calculated poor or incomplete
combustion,itwillshutdowntheunitasasafetyfeature.
(Poor or incomplete combustion is a contributor of
creosotewhichmaycauseachimneyre)
A 6 blink status may be caused by several things:
1. Blockedorpartiallyblockedue.
2. Blockedorpartiallyblockedinletair.
a. Backdraft damper on the inlet pipe may be stuck
closed.
b.Ifoutsideairisinstalled,theinletcovermaybeblocked.
3. Theairchamberundertheburnpotmaybelledwithnes
andsmallbitsofash.
4. Theholesintheburnpotmaybegettinglledwithashor
carbonbuildup.
5. Combustionblowerfanbladesmayneedcleaned.
6. Thereisnofuelinthehopper.
SMOKE SMELL
Sealtheventpipejointsandconnectiontostovewithsilicone.
FIRE HAS GONE OUT

Cleaning Burn Pot
Wheneveryourstoveisnotburning,taketheopportunityto
scrapethe burn pot toremove carbon buildup.Avacuum
cleanerishandytoremovetheresidue.Be sure the stove
is cold if you use a vacuum.
Carbonbuildupcanbescrapedloosewiththereburning
usingthespecialtoolprovidedwithyourstove.Scrapethe
oorandsidesoftheburnpot.Thecarbonwillbepushedout
bytheincomingfuel.Alwayswearglovestodothis.
Removing Ashes
TurntheTempDialtonumber1approximately30minutes
beforeremovingashes.Thiswillresultinacoolerstoveand
ashpan.
Maximum FeedAdjuster settings are not needed in most
cases.Operatinginthenormalrange(#4)isrecommended
when maximum heat output is not required. The ESP
preventsthestovefrombeingover-red.
Keepthestovefreeofdustanddirt.
Fuel
Pelletfuelsareputinto3categoriesintermsofashcontent.
Premiumat1%orless,Standardat3%orlessandallothers
at3%ormore.
Thismodeliscapableofburningall3categoriesofpellets
duetoapatentedfeederandburnpotsystem.
It should be noted, however, that higher ash content will
requiremorefrequentashremoval,scrapingoftheburnpot,
andmayprovidelessBTU’sperpound.Normally,standard
andhighashpelletscostlessthanpremiumpelletsandcan
becosteffectivewhenburnedinthisunit.
Themoisturecontentmustnotexceed8%.Highermoisture
willrobBTU’sandmaynotburnproperly.
