!
CAUTION:
ALL CONNECTIONS REFERRED TO IN THIS INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
SHOULD BE VERIFIED USING THE SCHEMATICS SUPPLIED WITH THE
TRANSMITTER. THE SCHEMATICS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED THE MOST
ACCURATE IN CASE OF A DISCREPANCY.
To facilitate proper installation and initial checkout, all applicable technical
documentation should be carefully studied to obtain a thorough understanding of the
principles of operation, circuitry, nomenclature, and performance characteristics for
each piece of system equipment to be installed.
The transmitter installation is accomplished in the following order:
1. Equipment Placement
2. HDx-FM Exciter/Boost Pro Installation
3. Air System and Cooling
4. Grounding
5. Power Supply Connections
6. Audio Connections
7. Data Connections
8. Initial Turn On
9. Remote I/O Wiring
2.3.1 Equipment Placement
NOTE:
State, County, and Local Electrical Code may require more distance, but a mini-
mum clearance of 36 inches is recommended for front and rear access to system
equipment.
If the system equipment is to be positioned into a predetermined wall opening, be sure
to allow for any final leveling needed when figuring the wall opening dimensions.
