5.4 CAN Buss operation
The HDx-FM Exciter and Boost Pro (if included in the system configuration)
communicate over a serial data connection. Verify the data connection is functional by
using the Boost Pro’s status submenu; CAN COMM should read OK.
5.5 AC surge protection
Input AC surge suppression and grounding configuration integrity should be checked at
the beginning of the lightning season.
5.6 Software
Every piece of the FlexStar product line either has software or is affected by the
software in the rest of the system. Harris offers significant software updates on the
Harris Premier web site. Check for applicable updates periodically; especially when
new equipment is added to your system or changes are made to your system.
