Table 6-2 Master Controller Related Faults

FAULT COMMENT ACTION

MSTR_REF +5V reference fault. Indicates +5V

reference is < 4.6V

Mute XMTR (IPA & Exciter, Power supplies)

REF_WARNING Indicates +5V Reference is out of

tolerance at the Master Controller Board

with error of more than 0.25V but < 0.4V

Reports fault in Log without shutting down

the PAs.

RFL_PWR Reflected power has exceeded VSWR

overload threshold of 210W(110W) which

is equivalent to a 1.42:1 VSWR

Will follow the 3 Strike Routine (described in

Section 6) Mute XMTR, then slowly ramp up

to full power or the VSWR foldback point,

whichever comes first. Foldback is set at

1.30:1 from the factory.

INTERLOCK External Interlock fault Turn off XMTR, light INTERLOCK LED

FAILSAFE Failsafe fault, AC on and power supply in

standby mode

Mute XMTR, blink INTERLOCK LED

POWER_FAIL AC power supply failed, +20V power

supply on Life Support Board is less than

12V.

Mute XMTR & save fault time. Transmitter

will automatically return to operation when

power returns.

LOW_AIR Low air flow fault at 25% (88 cf/m) Low-fan TO high-fan, OR high-fan TO AC off

UPS Logic LOW detected at Remote UPS input XMTR is switched to the UPS Power setting

CPLR_NC Forward power Directional coupler cable

is not connected

Mute XMTR. Restart required to restore

power

IPA_MUTE An IPA has current still present with Vg < -

15V

Mute XMTR (RF Sources and PAs)

IPA_AB1_LOW IPA_AB1 power is < 10% of calibrated

output with Vg = 0V
