Section 6 Troubleshooting
Platinum Z16HD+
IPA_LOAD Z-Plane currents are checked during
startup to determine if IPA load is
balanced. Most likely caused by bad RF
cable.
Mute XMTR
ISO_AB Reject Load ISO_AB, on the AB 3dB
hybrid, is > 130
o
C
Will follow the 3 Strike Routine (described in
Section 6)
IPA_CD1_LOW IPA_CD1 power is < 10% of calibrated
output with Vg = 0V
Mute, then switch to other IPAs
IPA_CD1_OC IPA_CD1 current has exceeded the 14.0A
threshold
Mute, then switch to other IPAs
IPA_CD1_OT IPA_CD1 temperature has exceeded
100
o
C
Mute, then switch to other IPAs
IPA_CD1_OUT IPA_CD1 is not inserted completely into
the connector
Switch to IPA_CD2 if it is not faulted
IPA_CD2_LOW IPA_CD2 power is < 10% of calibrated
output with Vg = 0V
Mute, then switch to other IPAs
IPA_CD2_OC IPA_CD2 current has exceeded the 14.0A
threshold
Mute, then switch to other IPAs
IPA_CD2_OT IPA_CD2 temperature has exceeded
100
o
C
Mute, then switch to other IPAs
IPA_CD2_OUT IPA_CD2 is not inserted completely into
the connector
Switch to IPA_CD1 if it is not faulted
ISO_CD Reject Load ISO_CD, on the CD 3dB
hybrid, is > 130
o
C
Will follow the 3 Strike Routine (described in
Section 6)
ISO_ABCD Reject load ISO_ABCD on the ABCD 3dB
hybrid > 130
o
C
Will follow the 3 Strike Routine (described in
Section 6)
PSC#_COMM Communication lost between Master and
one of the PS controllers
Indication of fault (no other action taken)
PAC#_COMM Communication lost between Master and
one of the PA controllers
Indication of fault (no other action taken)
RF Source 1
RF Source 2
The RF source has signaled the
transmitter that it has a problem. For more
information on RF source faults refer to
the corresponding manual.
An RF source FAULT is detected, and is
recorded in the transmitter fault log.
RFSource1_LOW
RFSource2_LOW
The exciter, or BoostPro, has signaled the
transmitter that its RF output has dropped
below normal limits.
Controller will then delay 40 seconds before
switching to 2
nd
exciter or boost amp, if it is
available.
RFSource1_AFC
RFSource2_AFC
Phase Locked Loop not locked
Given 40 Sec to recover, then switch to 2
nd
RF Source (if available)
