Declaring an Emergency Call
1. Press .
For digital channels, the radio
transmits talkgroup or radio ID to
dispatch console or receiving
radio.
The radio will go through
transmit and receive cycles if
configured.
You can speak into the
microphone while the radio is
transmitting or press PTT to talk.
2. To exit emergency, either
power cycle the radio or
select EXIT EMERGENCY
from the call menu.
