      If the Hawle Control Unit's plate does not open or close, the issue might stem from a drive fault or a 100% drive circuit fault, possibly due to an end switch or mechanical stop. For drive faults, consult the supplied drive instruction manual. If the fault is within the drive circuit, consider replacing the wedge nut.

      Leakage in the valve opening of a Hawle Control Unit can occur for several reasons. The wedge may not be closing completely, in which case you should refer to the supplied drive instruction manual. Alternatively, the wedge may be mechanically damaged, requiring a replacement. Deposits on the wedge can also cause leakage, which can be resolved by relubricating the spindle. Finally, a worn wedge nut can cause the leakage.
