What to do if Heatmaster C-150 Furnace water is hot but buildings have no heat?
    • J
      johnsonstevenAug 12, 2025
If your furnace water is hot, but your buildings aren't getting heat, here are a few things you can check: * Make sure all pumps in the system are running. * Check the filter cartridge for any flow blockages, if one is installed. * Bleed off any air that may be in the system at the exchanger. * Make sure there are no closed valves that are preventing water flow. * Check the temperature of the water as it exits the furnace, enters the building, and before and after each heat exchanger.

What to do if there is a power failure with my Heatmaster Furnace?
    • T
      Thomas LewisAug 31, 2025
In the event of a power failure with your furnace: * Open all flow-check and zone valves in the system. * Remember that the heating systems cannot dispose of a great deal of heat without the circulator(s) running. Avoid over-firing! * When the power has returned, reset all flow-check and zone valves and resume normal operation of the system.

    • A
      Allison AllenNov 15, 2025
If your furnace is running but the water isn't heating up to the correct temperature, consider the following troubleshooting steps: * Check the fire. * Verify the fan is operating correctly. * Ensure the solenoid damper and fanbox elbow are open to allow air injection. * Confirm the furnace is appropriately sized for the heat demand. * Check the fuel type, as poor quality fuel provides fewer BTUs. * Verify the furnace water level. * Inspect the chimney and bypass trough for ash and creosote blockages. * Check the temperature settings, ensuring the high temperature setting is at least 165 F. * Confirm the furnace has power. * Ensure all pumps in the system are running. * Check for leaks or breaks in the pipes or fittings. * Check the temperature of the water exiting...
