Procedure of
mixing
40 parts petrol + 1 part oil
MIXING FUEL (40:1 MIXING RATIO)
1. Measure out the quantities of petrol and oil to be mixed.
2. Put some of the petrol into a clean, approved fuel container.
3. Pour in all of the oil and mix well.
4. Pour in the rest of the petrol and again mix well (at least one minute).
5. It is very important to mix the two ingredients properly to prevent unnecessary engine wear.
6. Make sure that the container is clearly labelled that it is “40:1 2-stroke” mixture.
Do not use the fuel which is older that 14 days. If the fuel is left in the machine longer
than 14 days it could case stopping of fuel system. Mix and store fuel in a container
approved for gasoline. Do not mix quantities larger than usable in a 14-day period.
FUELLING
1. The engine must be stopped and cool.
2. Make sure that the fuel mixture is well mixed.
3. Remove the fuel tank cap (fig. 1-1).
4. Fill the fuel tank to about 80% of its capacity.
5. Fasten the fuel cap securely and wipe up any fuel spillage around the machine.
Note: Fuel mixing ratio - fuel / oil (HECHT 2T) : first 20 operating hours 33 : 1 (3,3 l petrol
: 0,1 l oil); after 20 operating hours 40 : 1 (4 l petrol : 0,1 l oil).
OPERATION
CHECK BEFORE STARTING
Check closely operational and technical condition of the machine. If you have some doubts,
don´t start the machine. Contact our authorized service.
Pay attention especially to following points:
• Fuel level
• Checking of tools regarding damage and wear
• Correct assembly of the auger bit.
• Easy function of all control device, mainly switch
• Firm fit of spark plug connector – lose connection could create sparks and igniting mix of air
with petrol vapours.
• Securing of clean handles in order of safe and sure leading the machine
• All safety and protection devices must be correctly fitted and at his place before starting machine
• The auger bit. must run easily.
