3.2.3. Mains Supply
The mains connection box is located inside the supply compartment at the rear of the housing.
For parking machines with mains supply, the 230 V/12 V voltage converter provides the supply voltage as well as the charging
current for the 12 V buffer battery.
The mains connection itself and all work on the live components in the mains connection box may only be
carried out by an approved electrical contractor with EVU approval!
The permissible outer diameter of the mains line/cable is 10 to 14 mm.
The following conditions apply to the conductors of the mains connection line/cable:
Conductor Cross-section A (mm²)
rigid line
flexible cable
The optional RCD switch (residual current circuit breaker) on the mains supply is also the main switch for the
mains voltage. If the switch lever of the RCD switch is in the "0" position, all poles of the parking machine are
disconnected from the mains supply.
Work in the mains voltage circuit of the parking machine, such as changing the buffer battery, is only
permitted with the RCD switch switched off.
Mains voltage is still present at the components listed below in the mains connection box even when the RCD switch is in
position "0":
• Input terminals of the mains connection line including the fuse terminal
• Surge arrester
• Terminals of the residual current circuit breaker
