8. Commissioning
Genius Plus X:
With radio smoke alarms,
the radio module is to be
installed before commissioning
(see“StandardX radio
module” operating manual).
f Attach the smoke alarm to the
base in such a way that the round
anti-tamper seal opening of the
smoke alarm is positioned ush
over the magnetic holder of the
base.
f Turn the smoke alarm clockwise
until it latches.
Ö The smoke alarm will be
activated automatically and
execute a self-check.
If the smoke alarm is removed
from the base again, it will
automatically switch off after
5 minutes.
