Refer to the safety precautions on (page 29).
3. Remove the front axle nut (2) remove
the axle and wheel.
FRONT WHEEL REMOVAL
1. Support the motorcycle securely on the
main stand and raise the front wheel off
the ground.
2. Remove the speed sensor cable stay bolt
(1) from the left fork leg and remove the
clamper.
4. Remove the collar and speed sensor (3)
from the wheel.

FRONT WHEEL INSTALLATION
1. Install the side collar (1) to the right side
of the wheel hub and then install the
speed sensor (2) on the left side of the
wheel hub.
TORQUE : 5.9 kgf-m
2. Position the front wheel between the fork
legs by aligning the slot on the speed
sensor with the lug on the fork leg and the
disc between the brake pads to avoid
damage to the pads. Insert the axle from the
right side through the fork legs and wheel hub.
3. Tighten the front axle nut to the
specified torque.
4. After installing the wheel apply the brake
several times and then check if the wheel
rotates freely. Recheck the wheel if the brake
drags or if the wheel does not rotate freely.

• Axle nut torque : 6.3 kg-m.
