Ensure the water level isn't too low. Verify that the measuring chamber and the LED fitting are installed correctly, as they can loosen during transport, disrupting the measurement. If needed, perform a visual adjustment as described in the maintenance instructions for the Testomat® 808.

Ensure you are using only indicators approved for use in the Testomat® 808, as indicators for other Testomat instruments can produce erroneous measurements. Check whether the stirring bar is present and turns, and confirm that the pump supplies indicator. Inspect the dosing needle for blockages or O-ring damage. Ensure that the suction and pressure hoses do not draw secondary air, and check the suction lance, making sure no air bubbles are escaping from the dosing needle.
