g. Slide the hub onto the shaft.
i. Align the keys into the hub
keyways.
h. Install the hub nut (1) and tighten
using a 3/4" drive impact wrench.
i. Drive the hub onto the taper between
the driveshaft and the hub.
i. Use a sledge hammer to hit the
pan in the order and locations
shown in the figure.
j. Tighten the hub nut using the 3/4"
drive impact wrench.
k. Re-drive the hub onto the taper using
a sledge hammer to hit the pan in the
order and locations shown in the
figure.
l. Re-tighten the hub nut using the 3/4"
drive impact wrench.
