Note:
To send the Email when an event occurs, you need to refer to Section 6.1.2 Configuring
Email Settings to set the Email parameters.
 Notify Surveillance Center
Send an exception or alarm signal to remote management software when an event
occurs.
 Upload to FTP/Memory/NAS
Capture the image when an alarm is triggered and upload the picture to a FTP server.
Note:
You need a FTP server and set FTP parameters first. Refer to Section 6.1.2 Configuring
FTP Settings for setting FTP parameters.
 Smart Tracking
Track the moving objects automatically when an alarm is triggered.
Note:
To configure the smart tracking, you need to refer to Section Configuring Smart Tracking
to set the parameters.
 White Light Flashing
White light of the camera flashes when alarm happens. Flashing Duration, Flashing
Frequency, and Brightness are configurable on Flashing Alarm Light Output page:
Configuration > Event > Basic Event
 Flashing Duration: The time period the flashing lasts when one alarm happens.
 Flashing Frequency: The flashing speed of the light. High, Medium, and Low are
selectable.
 Brightness: The brightness of the light.
Notes:
 Before using the function, go to Configuration -> System -> Maintenance -> System
Service to enabled white light in advance.
 The function is only supported by certain camera models.
 Audible Warning
Built-in speaker or connected external speaker plays warning sound when alarm
happens. Sound Type and Alarm Times are configurable on Audible Alarm Output page:
Configuration > Event > Basic Event
 Alarm Sound Type: The content of audible warning.
 Alarm Times: The repeating times of the warning.
Notes:
 Before using the function, go to Configuration -> Video/Audio -> Audio to enabled
built-in speaker in advance.
 The function is only supported by certain camera models.
 Trigger Alarm Output
Trigger one or more external alarm outputs when an event occurs.
