Before You Start
Go to
Conguration > System > Maintenance > VCA Resource Type , select Temperature
Measurement + Fire and Smoke Detection.
Steps
1.
Go to Conguration > Event > Smart Event , select Fire and Smoke Detection.
2.
Check Enable Fire and Smoke Detection.
3.
Select Fire and Smoke Detection Mode.
Detection Mode Mode Description Conguration Description
Fire or Smoke The system alarms when
device is triggered either by
Fire Source Detection or
Smoke Detection.
Set Fire Source Detection
and Smoke Detection, see
step 4.
Fire and Smoke The system alarms when
device is triggered both by
Fire Source Detection and
Smoke Detection or either
of them.
Double Conrm The system alarms when
device is triggered both by
Fire Source Detection and
Smoke Detection.
Specied Fire Source The system alarms when
device is triggered only by
Fire Source Detection.
Set Fire Source Detection,
see step 4.
Specied Smoke The system alarms when
device is triggered only by
Smoke Detection.
Set Smoke Detection, see
step 4.
Note
Fire or Smoke, Fire and Smoke and Double Conrm are mutually exclusive with
temperature measurement function.
