If you smell gas:
1. Shut off gas to the appliance.
2. Extinguish any open flame.
3. If odor continues, keep away from the appliance and
immediately call you gas supplier or fire department.

and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
An LP-cylinder not connected for use shall not be
stored in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD
This appliance can produce
carbon monoxide which has
no odor. Using it in an enclosed
space can kill you. Never use this
appliance in an enclosed space
such as a camper, tent, car or home.

Precaution!
The Powder Coating paint process has become the most
common widely used application in the outdoor furniture
category. Unfortunately powder coating is extremely
sensitive to Humidity and Moisture. A simple process to
protect your furniture, especially flat surfaces is to apply a
simple coat of good quality car wax prior to using. If this
process is done every few months it will protect your
furniture for years to come.

      If the pilot light on your Hiland Patio Heater won't light, open the gas line and bleed it by pressing the control knob in for no more than 1-2 minutes, or until you smell gas. If the efficiency is reduced below 40°F, turn the cylinder valve OFF and replace the cylinder. You can also use a match to light the pilot, but consider obtaining a new igniter and replacing the old one.
