2.1 Preparations
1. Remove the back case and insert a battery. (Refer to
"Chapter 4 Battery Replacement".)
2. Press
POWER
to turn the instrument on. Verify that
all segments of the display light up briefly. The
model name then appears on Display 1 and battery
state on Display 3.
3. The measuring state of the 1φ P meter or 1φ PF
meter is activated. (The instrument was shipped
from the factory with the 1φ P meter selected. For
details, see 2.9, "SETUP Function.")
[Low battery voltage detection function]
After the
mark lights and battery voltage drops
below a certain level, the power goes off
automatically. When this occurs, " "is
displayed.
When power goes off after display of these marks,
replace the exhausted battery with a new one.
