Chapter 4 Battery Replacement

NOTE
The indicator appears when battery voltage
becomes low. During which time accuracy cannot
be guaranteed. Replace batteries only with the
specified type.
When replacing the battery, make sure that the
metal battery snap fitting is firmly connected. If the
metal fitting is loose, adjust it and recheck the
connection.
To avoid corrosion from battery leakage, remove
the batteries from the instrument if it is to be stored
for a long time.
1. Remove the two fastening screws of the back case,
using a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Remove the back case.
3. Remove the old battery without pulling the codes of
the snap.
4. Securely connect the battery to the battery snap.
5. Replace the back case and tighten the fastening
screws.
