12. Trouble shooting
Overfilled pipette
Suction too slow or too weak
- Safety valve is activated
immediately and prevents
liquid from getting into the unit
- Knurled nut has been set too
loosely
- No tight, secure connection of
the pipetholder
- Filter is full
- Silicone adaptor is damaged
- Remove safety valve, clean and resemble.
If required, replace the safety valve.
During assembly take note of point 8.3.
- Knurled nut more tightly onto the
handle.
- Screw the pipetholder more tightly onto
the handle.
- Exchange the filter.
- Exchange the silicone adaptor.
