5.6 External features
5.6.1 Ethernet connector specifications
The P1-EN connector (PORT1 and PORT2)
specifications are shown below.

5.6.2 Ethernet cable specifications
An Ethernet twist pair cable (category 5e or higher)
is used for the connection. It is recommended to
use a cable with the following specifications.
■Cable recommended specifications
・The function Auto MDI-X is valid or invalid by the
inverter parameter setting. For information
about the parameter, please refer to "6.2
Parameter settings" in this guide.
・When the function Auto MDI-X is invalid, require
the suitable cable for the connecting devices.
Namely, it is necessary for proper
communication between the devices to use
distinguished the cable of straight type or cross
type.
The connection is available Ethernet connectors
conformed with 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX.
The distance between the nodes (the devices)
should be within 100 meters.
