3.2.2 Setting Auto Sipper
Select Auto Sipper from the tabs, and set Sipping Time, Delay Time,
and Air Purge. For setting other measurement conditions, refer to the
chapter “4 First-Time Measurement” of “INSTRUCTION MANUAL
FOR MODEL UH5300 SPECTROPHOTOMETER”.

Sipping Time: This is the processing time for sipping sample
caused by pushing the sipping lever. The time is
settable within the range of 0 - 60.0 seconds at
0.1 second intervals. When the viscosity of sample is
equal to that of pure water, approx. 1.5 mL can be
sipped in 5 seconds. To measure a sample with a
viscosity equivalent to pure water at the room
temperature of 25 °C, it is recommended for sipping
for 5 seconds.
