Entering the SLEEP0 Mode
ThereisonlyonewayforthedevicestoentertheSLEEP0Modeandthatistoexecutethe“HALT”
instructionintheapplicationprogramwiththeIDLENbitinSMODregisterequalto“0”andthe
WDToff.Whenthisinstructionisexecutedundertheconditionsdescribedabove,thefollowingwill
occur:

Thesystemclock,WDTclockandTimeBaseclockwillbestoppedandtheapplicationprogram
willstopatthe“HALT”instruction.
• TheDataMemorycontentsandregisterswillmaintaintheirpresentcondition.
• TheWDTwillbeclearedandstopped.
• TheI/Oportswillmaintaintheirpresentconditions.
• Inthestatusregister,thePowerDownag,PDF,willbesetandtheWatchdogtime-outag,TO,
willbecleared.
