SWINGARM
Remove the
following:
- rear wheel (page
4-3)
rear shock absorber (page 1
2·8)
chain
cover
mounting
bolts and chain
cover
chain guard
mounting
bolts and chain guard.
Remove
the
swingarm
pivot bolt
and
swingarm.
INSP
ECTION
Check the
swingarm
for cracks
or
damage.
Check the
pivot
bushings and
pivot
bolt
for
excessive
wear.
INSTA
LL
A
TI
ON
Apply
grease
to
the
swingarm
bushings and
pivot
bolt.
Install
the
swingarm
, pivot
bolt
and
nut,
but
do
not
tighten
the
nut
yet.
REAR
WHEEL
