  If your Honda Outboard Motor engine doesn't start, several issues could be the cause: * The starter grip cannot be pulled out: ensure the shift lever is in the NEUTRAL position. * The emergency stop switch clip is not engaged: engage the clip. * The vent knob isn't open: open the vent knob. * The priming bulb hasn't been squeezed: squeeze the priming bulb to supply fuel. * The engine is flooded: clean and dry the spark plug. * There are no sparks across the spark plug: securely install the plug cap. * Fuel isn't reaching the carburetor: loosen the carburetor drain screw to check for fuel in the carburetor float bowl.
