Apply grease to the sliding surfaces of the cable pivot.
Apply grease
to
the pivot point of the throttle arm, then
install the throttle rod with the two

washers and

w-clip.
Power trim/tilt type only: Check whether the power tilt
switch wire does not interfere with throttle rod.
Apply grease to the throttle grip installation surface of
the tiller handle and friction disc. Install the friction disc
by aligning the grooves of the throttle friction disc with
the bosses
of
the tiller handle as shown.
Install the throttle cable pin on the cable pivot with the
projected length at both ends
of
the pin equal as
shown.
