ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) SENSOR
The sensor resistance decreases as the coolant tem-
perature increases as shown on the right table.
1)
Disconnect the
2P
connector from the thermo sensor
and measure the resistance between the sensor ter-
minals at the room temperature.
Standard
resistance:

2)
Connect the
2P
connector and start the engine and
warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
3) Stop the engine, and disconnect the
2P
connector
and measure the resistance.

resistance:
